what media are you using ? .. is it + or - r, what brand is it,what model of ps2 areyou using? answers to these basic questions will make it easier to diagnose your problem
-
PS2's are notoriously picky about certain media.
PLUS, IT'S NOT POLITE TO YELL!
(On the Internet, using all capital letters means you're YELLING!)

sorry about the yelling fella's, im using dvd-r 2x4x premium grade A discs, im burning with a Pioneer 106 dvd re-writer, im using Dvd Fab to rip dvds and nero 6 express to burn them at 4x! Once burnt they work fine on my Pacific 1002 dvd player but pause on my Ps2 and Yello dvd player! Ive heard that nero is full of glitches and Record now max is the boy for dvd-r burning and that to try burning them on 2x instead of 4x

Foo, it would be nice if you actually offered some real advice once in a while rather than your "amusing" quips. Not only are you flaccid, but you are a total bore.
Yeah, I know. You know 10 kazillion times more than I do. But how about a little civility once in a while?
You create your own reality. Interested in media servers and HTPC? Can we talk? -
Lovejoy - you already started a post about that earlier tonight here: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=673443#673443
Please, if you want to ignore what I already told you, wait for more replies from others in your first post, or add to or change it's subject title. It's really unfair that now more people have restated what I already told you.
I did mention this the last time you had 4 different posts in one night.
Be fair to those that are trying to help you. There's no place like 127.0.0.1
The Rogue Pixel: Pixels are like elephants. Every once in a while one of them will go nuts. -

for what it's worth????
it's worth absolutely nothing!
WTF has CAPS or lowercase got to do with anything in this post, are you still hurting over vance43211???????
the actual problem with some people on this board is that they are too keen to jump on someone for making a silly mistake so they think they look clever. You heroes!!!!
and what I'm amazed at is the fact the guy actually realised and apologised yet the issue is still raised. Why not just let it go in the 1st place as his previous posts haven't been in CAPS. Some people on this forum just take things too far for the smallest things
sAd vErY SaD iNdEeD!
I guess some people will never change, always the usual suspects and that's why I stay at Doom9 more even though I like this board, because I don't see stupid childish immature shite like this every other post
peace people -

Also Nero 6 blows. But I doubt that is causing the problems, you may have to burn as UDF 1.02 instead of DVD video my friend's PS2 will only read on TDK media burned at 2.4x w/UDF1.02.
then again I can throw anything at mine and it's fine... same model and revision numbers too.. -
Mack, CHILL.
You'll note that I tried to help as well.
1. Get some good media. "Premium GradeA Discs" usually translates to "Cheapest media available with a snazzy name". Get some Ritek or Ricoh discs. If you've got a Best Buy or Staples near you, get some Fuji discs retail. They're really good. I NO LONGER recommend Verbatim, because they switched from Ricoh to some crappy no-name.
2. You can TRY burning at 2x. But really the only reason for this is if the media is too bad to be burnt properly at 4x, or if your system can't keep up. I think the media probably IS bad, so MAYBE burning at 2x might help.
