I wonder if anybody knows if ffmpegx encoder can encode 704x576, like the kvcdx2 templates?

  2. Yes, just set the image size to "DVD" autosize.

Thanks, but DVD format is 720x576, isn't it? The kvcdx2 has 704x576. Any problem with the difference?

  4. You can set manually any size that you like, as long as it is accepted by your DVD player.

After 24 hours, encoding with fast VCD -ffmpegx encoder-, encoded 90 minutes at 720x576 on mpeg1, high quality + 2 pass.

    Ffmepgx 0.0.9 is fantastic!!

Same problem with 352x288, DVD player played with much "artifacts". Solved with tmpgenc, demux+mux with it.

A suggestion for the next version: I don't understand so much about, but I think tmpgenc only rewrites header when multiplex. It's possible to ad a "forced header" or something like this, to improve the final mpeg1 compatibility?

Thanks for a fantastic program, major!
