How long would it take to rip a movie using DVDXCopy? 1hr? Any faster way like maybe DVD Shrink? Thanks for any help![]()

I think you just have to try. No one here can tell exactly how fast your system is using those tools.

When you say "rip" do you mean just ripping or the whole process of duplication ?
I guess the bottleneck of the ripping process is DVD read speed and HD write speed in the second place). DVD Writers don't usually have a good performance ripping, you'd better get a dedicated DVD reader.
Well, if you want a figure with your burner I'd say between 20 and 30 minutes. You shold have DMA activated and a non very fragmented HD.
