Hi
I have looked through the forums for a solution to my problem but could not find one so I hope I am not duplicating an existing question. Here is my problem.
I have two MPEG files which I have burned to a DVD-RW. After being encoded one works fine however the second has an audio sync problem where over the length of the video clip dialogue slowly moves out of time so that the speech is ahead of the picture. However, when played through, for example, Power DVD as MPEG files (i.e. before burning), there is no problem, therefore presumably something happens during the encoding process.
I am using Roxio DVD Builder within Easy CD Creator v6 to create my DVDs. Having spent the money I don’t want to change this software as it does pretty much what I want although I get the impression it is not liked by the serious DVD authorers.
I am quite out of my depth in these things but is it likely to be a problem with the file or the encoding process? Is there some way I can affect the original MPEG file which might mean when encoded and burned it will be OK?
Any help would be much appreciated
