  1. How do I encode .MP3 files to Mpeg only audio files, as required by VCDEasy? I have TMPGEnc and the old Philips VCDMux.

What other Tools/Utilities would I require for this conversion?

Any help regarding this is desperately needed and is greatly appreciated, please.

  2. You can use RazorLame or any other MP3 encoder/decoder to convert the MP3 back to WAV, and then use TMPGEnc to convert it to MP2.

What I want to do is generate .mpg files containing AUDIO ONLY, as required my VCDEasy. I'm looking to burn one of these CD's with about 6 hours of audio.

  4. Weird, there used to be a bunch of TMPGEnc templates to make this kind of thing (audio-only VCD) in the Tools section, but alas they appear to have vanished.

  5. Just curious Why do you want to do that? You can always burned an audiocd with mp3? But anyway this is how you do it.

First create a black bmp or jpg Convert your mp3 to wav (I presumed you know how to do that!!!)

Load your picture file and wav into tmpgenc and encode into mpg.
    Is this what you want?
