  1. Is there a way to deinterlace with Studio DV? I want to convert DV to Mpeg2 but I want to dinterlace it so that it can be properly viewed on a monitor. I can't find an option in Studio DV for deinterlace.

  2. Don't de-interlace. Instead encode to mpeg-2 in interlaced format and use a playback program like PowerDVD that de-interlaces on the fly. Your final video will look much better if you do this.
