I made my first VCD last nite with no problems, a short 3 minute clip from a DVmini Camcorder. It played in the DVD-Rom on the pc that I made it in but it would not play on the DVD-Rom on another pc that I have. In the second pc it played in the CD-Writer? It would not play in the Sony CD-Writer that I had actually made it in? Today I made another VCD with about 9 minutes of video on it but put it on a green cd-r disk. It also plays in the DVD-Rom on the pc that I made it with but still not in the CD-Writer that made it? I went and tried it in the other pc's DVD-Rom and it played there using WinDVD. I decided to try the first disk, a cd-rw in the DVD-Rom and now it plays? I saw on this site that a VCD is supposed to play in a cdrom with Win Media Player but niether one of these will play with it. The link here said to check for so Windows system drivers but they are there in place. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why these VCD's will only play using WinDVD and it seems like only when they feel like it? One last thing , the video is choppy on the second pc but I haven't added any ram to it yet, it only has 64MB of ram with a 750 AMD Duron processor running WinME. The pc that I am using to edit and burn has 640 MB of ram with a AMD 1000MHz T-Bird processor.
