i like forceaspi better than i do regular aspi..
something about forcing aspi on windows xp is nice =)
quick question though.. i installed win xp pro w/sp1 (not sp1a) on a PC and then installed nero6, i forgot to install aspi, but it worked just fine.. does nero use its own thing or does nero6 install aspi? -
I think nero6 might install its own ASPI, but not sure.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they? -
Yes - its quite a while ago, but most burning software stopped relying on an existing Aspi Layer and started using there own. (The one that came with Win98se was crap)
These do not conflict with the windows Aspi Layer and are not availyble to other aplications.
Bottom line :
XP dosn't natively have an AspiLayer and the old Adaptec layer in ForceAspi1.7 is the most reliable release to date.
