Maybe you got a bad batch, it happens from time to time. If you know anyone else with a burner ask them to give a disc a try. If not I'd contact whoever you purchased them from and ask to have them exchanged.
Also I assume you use a media ID tool to make sure these are real Riteks right? -
Remember that recent Riteks sold as 2x will _only_ burn at 2x on a Pioneer A04/104 with 1.30 firmware. If you don't have a 104 with 1.30 firmware, they will only burn at 1x. You might be trying to burn 'em at 2x and that could well account for the problem.
I know this from personal experiences because I have one computer with a 104 and 1.30 firmware and another computer with a Pioneer 105. The latest Ritek 2x media burns happily at 2x on the Pioneers and gives an error message when I tell the Pioneer to burn it at 2x on the 105. The Pioneer A06 is almost certainly subject to the same limitations. -
I Cheers lads, Where will I get that media id tool from?
Il try burning them at 1x till i use them all up.
Do you recommened any all round good discs ?
cheers again
