  1. is there someway i can make the capture screen for virtualdub full so i can see it better, but cap it in 640 x 480?

  2. I think you need to explain your question a little more clearly. If I do understand your question, I don't think that capture preview window is zoomable or adjustable. Best way is to get a bigger monitor......

  3. right now when i capture it makes the capture screen 640 x 480 and captures it in that as well. what i want to do is make the capture screen take up the whole screen. but when i capture i want it to capture in 640 x 480

    the only way to get the screen bigger in capture in virtualdub is choose
    video/stretch to window and maximize virtualdub

    If I understand what you are asking......As far as I know you can capture in any size you want and it has no relationship with the size of the preview screen. You can make the preview screen bigger by changing your screen resolution in windows. Change it from 1024x768 to 800x600 or smaller. Some people with slower computers turn off the preview screen entirely as it does use processing power from your video card (If that is what you are capturing through)

    the way i described it is the best way to set the preview size,you dont need to change your screen resolution,just set stretch to window and maximize virtualdub and also uncheck show information panel,it wil fill most of the video screen now.

    i didn't know i could do that, thanks. is there also a way i can do something else on the computer while capturing? cause when i start capturing and i click somewhere it stops the capture
