  1. i notice that after i burn my dvd-r i see some shadow like area in my dvd-r disc and on top of it is a hair or a little dust.

after i remove the dust the area is still in my dvd surface.

is it possible the data within a dvd will corupt by a dust when it get burn within?

also is it usual that the top speed of the dvd-r various by every disc even it is from the same branch?

i always get different write speed when i burn dvd-r.

thank you for answering all my silly question.

    many thank you

  2. ugh, is this for real?

Yea, could be a dirty disk might not record well!
Clean the hairs off BEFORE burning, not after!

Think maybe a shadow could be caused by blocking light? Lasers write using light basically.

Perhaps data errors and buffer under runs on dirty disks or slow systems could be effecting burn speed. Stop playing games while buring also, and don't do much else either, see if that helps

thank you for answering all my silly question.
