I am finding that less than half the SVCD that I play on my dvd player using the header trick are working properly, which is really frustrating because I can usually get one cd of a movie to play fine but the rest of them will stutter.
I am using the same procedure on all the files:
-extract the mpeg file with ISOBUSTER
-run the header trick using TMPGEnc (I have tried using simple multiplex, multiplex, and both MPEG-1 VIDEO CD standard and non-standard)
-burn the converted mpeg with NERO
All the files that I have tried to convert play fine on the computer before I try to run the header trick.
One other thing, which may be absolutely nothing. After converting the mpeg, if I try and play it on my computer, if the picture comes up green and blocky, it will burn fine, if the picture comes up black, it will stutter after burning it. Could this be a problem with TMPGEnc settings?
Any suggestions would be appreciated as the ones that do work play excellent on my dvd player.
TIA
