How to put menus on a movie only dvd?

I have been having difficulties to put "working" menus on the dvd. I reauthoerd a dvd in dvdshrink and put menus on it but they are not working. I am just keeping the movies on it and taking out all the extras and extra audio tracks. I only need chapter selection and play movie options to work on the menu. I am using Nero6 to burn them and DVDShrink 3 to author them. I have GSA-40404B with A300 firmware.

Some of the things you can do with this tool are

Strip titlesets, titles, chapters, cells, warnings, logo's, trailers, extras etc

Menu's with Movie Only or also keep a few selective extras too

Split DVD keeping original quality but also deciding what you want on each DVD (e.g. Episodic DVD's)

Remove one of the two movies on the DVD (e.g. Widescreen & Fullscreen DVD's)

If I understood your post right you just dragged and dropped the menu files over in author mode... that does not work... read some IfoEdit guides
