Hi!
I got a Pnasonic NV-DS27 Videocam (Digital DV).
Now I want to create a Movie and send it to the PC over a Firewire Card. It works. I tryed it with Premiere, but the Movie (about 1hour) would become 15GB. (3,5MB/s) He is totally uncompressed. So how can I get him smaller? Which compressor is the best? Which works (with Premiere)? I don`t know how to get a 15GB Movie on a 700MB CD-R!
If someone can help me, it would be very nice!
THX Chilli!

Do you want to play the cdr on a standalone dvd player?

Easy solution...
Throw Premiere into the trashcan and use MovieDV4.0 from AIST.
You can capture the movie, process it and then render it in any format (e.g. VCD, SVCD, DV, MPEG, AVI...) to your harddisk.
I prefer it to Premiere because it is much lighter, faster and easier than Premiere.
Cheers

Thx a lot! I`ll try it.
I want to play it only on my PC.
Not on a Standalone Player.
Bye!
