Sony seems to be the only external DVD burner with an 8MB buffer. For someone with a slower machine, less ram (1ghz/512ran)-- should I get that over something like the TDK or Iomega exteral dvd burner?

I have a DVD+R drive with 2MB buffer on an old P3 750 with 256ram and a slow UDMA-33 hard drive, and burning at 4x DVD+R has been working fine for me. I always quit all other applications and make sure it's not fragmented up.
