  1. Hey all, I have this movie that i downloaded which uses MP3 as the audio codec, i believe it is the Fraunhofer audio decoder. It works well it's just that whenever people speak in the movie, it is very soft and hard to make it out. Is there a way to "boost" the dialogue or is there another audio decoder that is better? thanks for info!

You can load the video into Gold Wave, increase the volume, save the wave file. Then use TMPGEnc, using the original video as video input, and the new wave as audio input to make a video with increased volume.
    Hello.

  3. wow.. that seems complicated for a task this small, is there other MP3 decoders that i can use and perhaps configure the master gain volume?

That's the problem. You are dealing with someone else's errors and often all the work involved to try to fix it is not worth it - especially if you're lazy! :c)

Got to go back to the ole "You get what you pay for" theory.

Good luck. Have a nap then have a go if it's worth it to you. :c)
