Hi,
I'm trying to create a menu that look's a bit more professional than only those still's most of us are used to for menu's.
The idea is that I've got 3 clips of movies (each about 1minute long) and I want those clips paste into a background that actually is a JPeG.
The final menu should have a still background, but the 3 clips should be playing infinitivle (this I can set in vcdimager, it's just that each clip should play and not freeze).
Yes, I could do it all manually by cut/paste of each frame but I rather would try another option, while 1 minute of PAL is about 1500 images! And for the 3 it will be about 4500 and I should paste them all carefully at the exact position...
I already tried with ULead MediaStudio, but all I can do is to create an Avi of 1 minute of the JPeG. But how I should do this pasting, I realy cannot figure it out ("overlay" does not do the thrick, it only paste partial of the pasting movie). ULead also converts both avi's (the large and smaller one) to the same size, so what to do?
Does anyone have experiance with such? Which application should I best use for it (for Win32 plz)?
Hope someone can help me.
Tx.

It sounds to me like you should try Adobe Premiere. If I understand correctly, you want the menu to be overlayed on a video clip that plays in an endless loop in the background. I would make an avi of the background clips, overlay that with the menu you want using Adobe Premiere, and then compress the whole thing afterwards into a vcd/svcd compliant mpeg using TMPGEnc. Does that help?
