  1. Ok... if while trying to backup and transcode one of my dvd's, and it says its gonna be say "77% quality"... then I go to the next page and "uncheck" certain options.. like dts sound.. directors comments... and maybe even AC/2 sound... now when I step backwards.. my percentage hasn't changed?..

so the question is.. have I simply removed some features without increasing quality.... (It appears the disk is not quite fully burned by visually looking), or is it just a bug and it doesn't show you that he quality is now going to be higher?....

why give us a percentage bar if we are helpless to alter its level?...

thanks for any insight.... I love clonedvd, but this is the only nusience for me..
    thanks

This is the biggest "missing feature" in CloneDVD right now. Olli has had to adjust to the fact that a HUGE percentage of his users want more control over CloneDVD than they had over CloneCD.

    It'll come, give him time.

  3. I agree.. it will come.. but in the meantime... I am literally cataloging my backups as to "what percentage" of the original they fall under... I don't know if I can belive the percentage bar "after" I have made modifications?...

I also need to know this to help determine "if" it is cost effective to make the changes?????
If in reality I am not upgrading the quality by knocking off stuff.. then why do it?..

I am suspicious .... I wish I know for sure...
