How to burn dvd video from divx with subtitle?

Hi everybody.

I want to burn a Dvd video from a Divx movie ,but I want to be able to swich the subtitle on and off. The subtitle is not on the divx movie, I have the subtitle as a seperat file.

Can somebody help me plz????

Authoring with selectable subs is not easy.

Basic steps

1. Convert to DVD MPEG
Use for example Tmpgenc, cce, mainconcept.

2. Convert the subs to the authoring tool you are going to use
If using ifoedit use srt2sup (not easy),
If using dvd maestro, sonic scenarist, sonic reeldvd use subtitle workshop or/and sub station alpha and maestrosbt.

3. Author with the subs.
Ifoedit (free but very limited, no menus and such but you can author and then reauthor with dvdlab with menus.)
Sonic Scenarist($$$$$$$$$$$)
DVD Maestro ($$$$$$$$$$)
Sonic ReelDVD ($$$$)

Problems
Usually subtitle sync problems.
