  1. I was wondering if someone can help me out by telling me what the differences between SPDIF/RAW and SPDIF/PCM are? I also wanted to make sure that SPDIF/RAW is the correct output setting I should select on my DVD player if I want to decode a Dolby Digtial signal from the digital coaxial output. The only 3 options I have in the player to chose from are OFF, RAW, and PCM. If someone can give me detailed descriptions of each or give me a link where I can learn more, I'd appreciate it greatly.
    Thanks

I tried a Google search and I came up with this website that has some imformation. I don't know the difference between the two types, but it seems mostly the consensus is to use the raw setting. See if this helpshttp://www.nerd-out.com/darrenk/500W/connection.htm) good luck!
