NEW DVD Stripping tool that makes life so much easier

aAt last the tool I have always known could be made and asked for has now become a reality!

I've co-developed this tool with my mystery programmer and it's now entered Beta test status as all results look promising and initial feeback is very promising

Some of the things you can do with this tool are :

Strip titlesets, titles, chapters, cells, warnings, logo's, trailers, extras etc

Menu's with Movie Only also keeping a few selective extras if need be

Split DVD keeping original quality but also deciding exactly what you want on each DVD (e.g. Episodic DVD)

Remove one of the two movies on the DVD (e.g. Widescreen & Fullscreen DVD's)

There may be more editing features but I can't remember just now but I think this is enough for most even in it's current Beta form

if you have any requests regarding the stripping/editing of a DVD just ask as you never know I may be able to get it implemented before release or say it's actually already possible

actually, the very first few versions allowed you to basically shuffle the content of the DVD or even add your own content. So ineffect you could play the movie chapters from the end to the beginning if you wanted to

this was dropped as the video formats would have to be of the same resolution/audio/subs etc

I do have an idea on how to bring this feature back and allow for this but for the moment I'm concentrating on getting this version working before adding all the features that I have planned and re-authoring is certainly one of them

I just wish there were more hours in a day

you can read the latest in the huge thread at Doom9 HERE as I don't think it's as popular here judging by the lack of replies

quite a few betatesters have a copy now, along with those donated earlier

the rest of the donators are going to get a 'free' copy within the next day or so if one final bug is ironed out as most people seem to enjoy it apart from this so it's coming soon

there's still stuff to do but I guess this will be OK for now as it can always be updated in time

I wish I had the time and I'll try to update as I've finally commited to a forum so I guess my visits here will be less frequent

MackemX I think he means that the program appears to just be a front end for automating ifoedit functions, and that since its going to be a charge for a front end program that he understand why the program may not want his name known.

That aside I think it looks very interesting. While I have no idea who is working with you on it I am interested in seeing the final product.

but first to answer your question this tool is to offer complete DVD content control to any user regardless of the DVD knowlege and without using complicated methods

that's the trouble with this ******* dickhead is that half the time you just don't know what he's posting about. He just always seems to know everything but the truth is he knows JACKSHIT and has just shown it!

I ain't asking for donations, I was asked to be donated too at first and it has evolved from there. Derrow knows all about the tool and didn't want donations, so yet more crap coming out his mouth as usual. My donations to Derrow and LIGHTNING UK are not because they told me too, but because they wanted nothing in return when I had asked them if it was ok to use their programs with mine. Seeing as most people don't donate to these great free programs then basically I am forcing anyone who does buy my tool to donate to the other two as I cannot justify making money from the tool without contributing to other 2 that help

the masking of the programmer was just a thing that went on for no special reason and it's just a simple game. Maybe that's the reason my thread at Doom9 has had over 11000 views in the last 10 days to see who the mystery programmer is or is it because people are genuinely interested in this tool, or maybe it my webpage which has had over 4500+ views in the week its been online and has over 100 people wanting updates. Even if its a simple layout, it does a job that no other tool can offer and even your Granny can use it and in time it will develop anyway as we just didn't realise what we had created. I guess he's just jealous when I'm gonna be getting £1,000's for helping the newbies enjoy the rewards we pro's do when backing up DVD's

this is the type of guy that spoils this forum so that's why I guess I'm leaving this place and going to stick to Doom9 and DVDRBASE instead as you just don't see this stuff every other thread

his location says it all and I suggest he takes his head out his own ass for once because people on this board are obviously sick of his constant shite. Even if he does know his stuff does it still justify the crap?

it's a shame as this board has been a great help to me but I guess it's time to spread my wings and fly as I can't be arsed anymore with the 'I know it all' dickheads on this forum that spoil it and my visits will be less frequent if at all

It ain't a GUI for Ifoedit like some who haven't seen it seem to think

but what you will be pleased to know, is that I have no doubt your Father will be able to use it seeing as my Mother/Friends without any previous DVD experience could do it after I showed them the 1st time. This tool makes editing a DVD as simple as 2 clicks to rip and rebuild. The only other clicks needed are the ones the user makes deciding what to remove

I created this tool with my programing friend so basically anyone can enjoy the editing success that I have for ages. I try to share my knowledge in my guides but even they can be a bit much for some, so now it's 3 simple steps as this tool does all the guides for you automatically and everyone should be able to use it. You just have to read people's reactions in the Doom9 thread to appreciate how helpful this tool is
