So now that I have my DVD file on my hard drive, it's still too big for one DVD-R with the most compression. What are the best ways to split it to two DVD-Rs. I'm sure there isn't one best way, but I'm looking for a few options with perhaps some advantages and disadvantages pointed out - Thanks for being so helpful.![]()

I thought that was for shrinking to one? It won't fit on one.

I also use DVD2One. I think it is one of the best compresion programs. It takes me about 15 minutes to compress a DVD and the quality is very good. But, in some cases I do have to split up the DVD in order to get the best results. I have tried DVDXCopy, but it did not work. Then I tried DVDFab and it worked. The only problem I see with DVDFab is that the second disc does not have a menu system.

You are right, when it works it is very good. The only problem is that it does not always work.
