I seem to have devoloped a zig zag on moving images when I capture anoluge video. There is no problem untill I hit the capture button them stationary features are ok but moving images are very zigzagey. I have tryed verious options ie deinterlace, codeces but the problem remains. I have no problems like this using winvdr It only seems like ulead that has this problem any ideas. Thanks

If that "zigzag" is indeed interlacing, it's supposed to be there. And it will look exaggerated in the preview window.
Where do you ultimately want to watch this video? TV? If yes, then leave it. PC, you can deinterlace it, but if you are watching it through software like PowerDVD, you can also just leave it.
It will look normal if you leave it and view it on TV. Just be sure your encode matches the original Field. Right click on it (in VS) and view its properties to see which field comes first. There's no place like 127.0.0.1
