  1. I am goign to pick up a 25-pack of TDK DVD-R today and I was wondering how they are.

I always use Ritek media and they never give me any problems and appear to be free of the "degration" issues Princos have and other cheap media.

I have always liked TDK cd-r media and I have a TDK cdrw, but I am wondering how their dvd-r media is, is it quality?

    Thanks

  2. Hi,
i've bought +- 50 TDK DVD-R in jewel Case and it's perfect with my writer (NEC 1300A 1.06). Up to now, 25 copies, with 4,35 Gb (max 4,38 Gb) of data, burn in 2x and no problem. DVD, with sticker, plays perfectly in my home DVD player (old Kenwood 3030).

  4. Did you get it? Today is over and it's now tomorrow.

I got some of the TDK 2x DVD-R from BestBuy and found it did not work as well as the Orange Ritek 4x stuff I normally use. The TDK dye color is lighter. I took some readings with kprobe and they were about the same. The TDKs did have some freezing problems in a picky samsung I have. Not really a big deal, but the Ritek's seem better.
I mean it in the nicest way.
