  1. Are there any prorammes in which you may load a divx or mpeg file so as the programme to show you the average bitrate of that specific file ?

  2. Just open the file in media player and choose properties. You can also d/load "MPEG Properties" under the "Tools" link to the left.

    This is a MPEG bitrate viewer. You have to load a Video stream (m2v, mpv).
    If you use CCE, you can use the advanced settings after creating the video information file (.vaf).

  5. then right click the file and choose properties, the summary tab has the info you want

  7. If you're trying to figure out a DivX file framerate, you could also use VirtualDub, under Video > Frame Rate.
    There you also can change it, but then you'll have video/audio desynchronization
