Go to File -> mpeg tools. The rest is pretty obvious. But beware of A/V sync problems. TMPGEnc only promises to handle mpegs it has created itself.

Not much, I'm afraid, xcept trying other apps capable of merging mpegs, or rethinking your strategy and try to get by without joining them. I've tried, believe me, and finally gave up after downloading and trying a whole bunch of mpeg joiners.

    spent 120 $/€ and buy mpeg2vcr....
There are also some other mpeg 2 editors allowing joining. Search the tools section of this site to read for some...

Do you need to do this?

If your burning to DVD, there's no need to join them. If you watching on a computer, then make a playlist for all 3 files, and they will play sequentially.

If your making a DivX out of 3 SVCD files, then I could see a need.....but you can still do without.

  8. Why are there little beeping sounds in between mpegs segments once they are joined in Tmpgenc? That's extremely annoying.

Video and Audio lenght, never match exactly.

Some programs, like mpeg2vcr, when joins mpegs, re-encode slighty those edges and smooth the result.

TMPGenc simply joins them, without doing any modification! So any "gap" between audio / video makes this noise.

TMPGenc Author because of this reason, "cuts" a bit before and after 2 mpeg clips, so this gap noise doesn't occur. But if the multiplexx between audio / video has delays, the result is lipsynch problems.

That's why I suggest mpeg2vcr for joining mpegs. No gap sounds and gurante no lipsynch probles!

  10. Thanks! I'll try that.

  11. I've never had that "noise" problem. Strange?!
