by copy you mean from a svcd already burned then if you cant make another copy cause the blank cd`s cant handle the size the its best to reduce the audio from 224kps to 192 or what ever bitrate it starts at,just do simple de-multiplex and multiplex

  3. What are you having trouble with in MMB? Are you trying to make an image first then burn back to SVCD? I have even used toast to make a toast image of the disk, then changed .toast to .bin and had vcdtoolsX rip the mpg out. From there you have make a nice .bin .cue file with vcdtoolsx or MMB.

    Good luck.

    Im really confused..

if its alread burned, just do a copy of the cd.
if you have two cd burners, just do COPY with toast.

if you dont, .toast it to your HD.
rename to .bin. if you have an old .cue, just rename that .cue to match the name of this .bin.

if you dont, use VCDtoolsx to pull the mpeg out, re image it back to .bin and it will give you a .cue

then burn using a 700MB cdr using MMB, FirestarterFX or even Toast 6

    Toast 6 overburns
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."

use vcdtoolsx to make the .bin/.cue again.

use the 2nd option (vcdimager is a tool to pack mpeg files as tracks in .bin disc-images)

This will take a single mpeg file and make a .bin/.cue set for you to burn

You are only doing this I take it because you dont have a .cue for these .toast images you pulled the .mpeg out of.

Once the process is complete you get .bin/.cue and you then open up Toast 6 and select the .bin/.cue optoin from COPY and drag the .cue into toast. It will burn the .bin associated with the .cue.

repeat for however many .bin/.cue files you have and you now made a copy of this SVCD.

NOTE: Future reference, keep one of these .cues in a folder somewhere.
Next time you copy a SVCD, just .toast the svcd. Rename to .bin and change the name of your saved .cue to match EXACTLY!!!!! the name of your .bin. then burn. You skip all this VCDtoolsx stuff by keeping 1 .cue. they will work for ANY .bin as long as you rename the .cue to match the .bin

    make since?

The problem is that the source of the copy is an overburned disc (probably from Windows) and nothing will image an overburned disc that will re-burn in a Mac/*nix app.

  10. Allright, thanks very much. I extracted the svcd mpgs with vcdtoosx and reburned them with MMB. I was able to cram an 822 mb .bin file onto a 80 min cd.
