    Has anyone had any experience with or know of any software that allows you to use the MPEG 5.1 extension for making SVCD's. Or is there a conversion tool for AC3 to MPEG 5.1 ?

    http://www.labdv.com has a mpeg 5.1 guide i think...but remember that it is only a few dvd player that support that.
