This isn't much of a problem, but it is still something that I think I should address. When I filmed against a green screen, then imported it into After Effects to key it out, I realised that the green wasn't perfect green anymore. The green screen that I used, along with the lighting was PERFECT green. But when I filmed it, then imported it into After Effects, the RGB values were on average: 15, 240, 150. As you can see, the blue was extremely higher than where it should be at zero. For some reason the camera adjusts the colours a bit when it films it. I have tried adjusting the colour in Premier (it's just easier to do the simpler tasks in Premier than in After Effects). I played with brightness, contrast, and the colour, but when I change one value to make the greens perfect, the other colours look funny. I know that you can key out any colour; it doesn't have to be perfect green. But still, I would like to make it look as close to the real thing as possible (that goes for all shots, even ones with no green screen). I am using a Canon ZR-60. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to correct the colour, possibly buy using filters in Premier.
