    when I try to open a video file captured with ieee1394 firewire card I get a error message in "Virtual Dup" (free Video Editor): Couldn't locate decompressor for format DVSD (unknown).
    Can I download this codec somewhere. The video however works in all other applications and also worked in that application earlier.

    You can get dvsd codec at http://www.mainconcept.com/archive/mcdv204.exe,
    but you have to save video file in Type2 format to have Virtual Dub open it properly. Virtual Dub opens Type1 format, but without the audio.
