    Hi,

    I recently bought a Samsung DVD-3500 DVD/VCR combo and I can't seem to get it to play VCDs. It does, however, play SVCDs fine, but I really want to be able to play both. Is there any workarounds for this or is it just plainly simple that it only works with SVCDs and I'll just have to take it back and look for a different model to get the job done?

    I had same problem with a Samsung. Had to return it.
