    I am making animated gif signature constantly. Anyone know how to convert Window movie maker(wmv) format into AVI so that I can use my studio 8 to make a story board??

    If your aim is to produce animated gif sigs like the one in your message, I wont help you, that's fersure

  3. Blackprince, This board has a limit of 10KB for pictures in the sig field. It is to assist people that don't have high speed connections. Yours is over 700KB so it would take a long time for them to download your signature.

    There is also a size requirement, but I am pretty sure your picture is within those limits.

    On a personal note though, I think you did a great job making the picture.

    Ok but I am not asking help to make a sig file...I am asking help as to how to convert WMV format into AVI.

  6. Open the WMV in TMPGenc and then save output of file to .avi.

  7. Windows Movie Maker has an option to save the project to DV AVI. USe that.

    Buganda, I tried before using Tmpegnc to open WMV, but it don't recognise the format. Is there any plugin I have to download?

    Andkiich, actually I did a search in the menus, but I cannot find ways to do that. Can u be more exact?? Thanks I realy appreciate ur help.

    WMM2 save to hard disc. More options Then one is DVI - AVI. That'll do the trick.
