DVD-Video playback graph could not be built

due to insufficient decoders.....I get this error on my laptop using WMP and Power DVD 5. But, I have all the same decoders that I have on my desktop which works fine. I can get this to play in Nero player.

I've tried Gspot and it shows an XVID and says that codec is installed but under audio, it shows ac3 status as codec not installed but does give the info that DirectShow WAS able to render sound and to see DirectSHow render for more details.
Funny thing is, the same thing shows up on my desktop but it plays fine.
I'm really confused and don't know what to do.
Please give me some advice.

Just reininstalled the powerdvd. Some files were uninstalled when you uninstalled some other program probable a codec. Also installed KL codec it should take care of all codec need

Oddly enough, I did nothing and it started working after about 1 week.
