I don't really have a lot of time to watch TV, especially during the evenings since I work. But I do record a show if it's worth it. I have noticed from other posts, my interests in movies and other things are similar to quite a few of you.

I was wondering are there any really great TV shows out there worth at least checking out?

Here are the shows I don't like to miss...

    -Smallville (WB - Wed, @ 8:00)
-Carnivale (HBO - Sun, @ 9:00) - Seen 2 episodes and I think this show is excellant and highly recommend it. Not for children though.

I also try to catch "Friends" and "Everybody loves Raymond".

I have to say I am really missing the 5th season of FARSCAPE. Any scapers out there?

Smallville is good show(did you see the season premire tonight?). Friends is also a good choice. I recommend scrubs on NBC(I think it airs after friends)...and another show that isnt new, but will always be one of my favorites...FAMILY GUY on cartoon network at 10:30PM and the same episode @ 1:00 PM the next day on superstation.

Yea, I caught Smallville. Kind of an interesting turn the show has taken storyline wise. I am glad they moved away from the Clark vs. whatever bad guy theme though. I will have to check Scrubs out.

Farscape was cancelled after the 4th season. The final episode had a huge cliffhanger ending. I am just watching the re-runs now whenever they are on SciFi.

i like farscape too, haven't seen any of series 4, just up to halfway through series 3. Sci-Fi had a farscape weekender not so long ago over here, they showed all of series 2 over the weekend! it inspired me to go buy a new hard drive....

I'm waiting for the dvd releases of them all though, apparently there's a ton of additional stuff for series 4. i also hear a rumour the series would be concluded with eiter an animated series, or a one off TV movie. any progress on those?

Very true. The same old formula was getting old and rather dull. This way it's actually interesting.

I have to say that Carnivale on HBO does look promising. The first 3 episodes are very good. I hope it continues like this for all 12. I'll watch #4 on Monday when I get it
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
