The SVCD recording is supposed to be pretty good. Does not have a TV tuner like the Aspire Digital AD-8000 has.
Saw a demo of the AD-8000 on HSN once, looked way better than the Terapin I haveWish I had the Aspire instead.........
I would like to get a DVD recorder instead but I would have to get the right macrovision remover..... -
First I've heard of it, but wow does that look and sound cool. I need something that supports SVCD's and this might be the machine for me
Price tag is a bit high on it so I'm gunna wait, plus I want to see some feedback on it first though...

Compared to the nwe Mustek, the Mustek can copy DVD to VCD, but the Lite-On does SVCD recording.....
-
....interesting but for the uninitiated this not a DVD recorder.
VCD.. SVCD will not hold any where near what a DVD media will hold.
However depending on your needs...pocketbook this product or similiar could be usefull.
