DVD shrink question

Anyone here have problem using DVD shrink?

such as frame lost..

for some reason....i am keeping getting fame lost.... not much to throw the disc away... but it is just annoying..

like a couple of second of frame lost... (all of my backup dvds are doing it)


I test with the original,,and it work fine.....

is it the dvd player? Dvd Shrink software,?????

Are you watching the DVD off your hardrive before burning your disks?
Use PowerDVD and watch the DVD from your hardrive for the part you are losing frames, does it do it there still? If not it Could be a disk problem, not a file problem. What brand disks you recording with what drive?

If it does it off the hardrive too, then I wouldn't know what to think really.
I have done many shrinks with 2.3 and 3beta 5 both now and never had a problem. Epecailly with lost frames?
And I have done some wierd stuff! Like authoring a 5gig and 6 gig dvd, shrinking them, making a 8-9gig dvd and then shrinking it to fit a DVD-r as 4gigs
Nearly 12gigs captured shrank to 4gigs and burned, Not for the common folks

Was an experiment, and it worked very well too!

I would also try the backup disks in another DVD player. Perhaps even the computer DVD drive also. See if you have the problem everywhere or just in one player.
Also is it about the same place in all your disks? Like near the middle or close to the end of what would be the same disk area?

yes, tried with powerdvd,, work fine when play in powerdvd..
I also burned the same movie, but using dvd2one, it work perfect, with no frame lost...


any comments? dvd player problrms maybe?
