  1. I installed Nandub 1.0rc2 .There is an option "NoAvi Output " which , I think , must be checked in order not to have an avi file generated when 1-st pass is done.I checked this option but Nandub create a temporary avi file (the name is temp_avi.avi , if I remember correctly). And this temporary file it's huge to very huge depending on the file to encode (e.g. : for a Dv file of 4.6 GB the temp file was 32GB and for a mpeg2 file of 10.6Gb the temp file supposed to be 310TB !!).I believe these size file estimations done by nandub were done like the video file was uncompressed(?). Anyway , nandub crashed when intends to close this temporary file.I have Win XP professional installed.
Any idea what to do ?

  2. NanDub was primarily created for two-pass SBC encoding with DivX4, plus some very convenient editing functions. It has stopped development. And I don't think many people are still encoding DivX4, because DivX Pro 5.xx supports 2-pass. Now I only use NanDub as an editor, because it does some chores faster and better than VDub....

    Just my two cents......
