    I've been trying to make a backup of a DVD i own but I always get an error on the last vob of the main movie.

    I've tried, IC8 & DVDDecryptor

  2. First you should make sure the the dvd is clean and not scratched and tell alittle more about the exact error that you are getting. Have you tried ripping any other movies to see if this problem only exist with this one dvd.

    As far as i can seen it is clean and there are no scratches.. The exact error i don't know any more. At showed some nice Hex codes in it.

    I have 3 DVDs that will not be backed up.. 5 others went ok.

  4. Have you tried any other software instead of IC8 like DVDShrink or DVD 9 to 5?

    Try those to see if they still give you errors. Good luck!

    have you tried setting the read speed of the drive to lower than the default (which is usually the max speed for the drive) it may take longer to rip the disk but sometimes i find that this is the only solution, i have had disks that i have had to rip at 1x because at faster speeds i was getting read errors, the down side is that it may take an hour or two to rip the disk but you only need to rip it once so it may be worth the extra time required to get a good rip.
