hi !
i have a DivX .avi source with 23.976 fps
i frameserved it with VirtualDub after proper resizing to 720x480
i encoded the .vdr in mpeg 2 with CCE, and seem to get a correct m2v file
at 23.976
for testing, my sourvce is 1min long, and the result is also 1min long (according to MediaPayerClassic)
i guess i can't author it directly with iFoEdit because of framerate, anyway if i do it on my DVd it stops after a few seconds play
i guess i have to pulldown the video before, but when i launch pulldown.exe on my .m2v file, i have 2 problems :
- in ifoEdit, no error but the progression bar ends at more than 100 %
- after burning, the movie stops after around 20 seconds
- if i play the pulldowned mpeg 2 file in Media Player Classic, duration is no more noted as 1min long, but 24s, even if during play it continues normally after that time, till the end of the movie
Any idea ? thanks a lot...
ps 2 : the whole process (i skipped the audio part in my description above) works with no problem with a PAL source, my DVD player plays it perfectly
(and it's a multizone one, NTSC compatible)
ps 1 : sorry for my english and my newby questions
and if the answer is somewhere i didn't find, i'll take a link as an asnwer of course![]()
