I have some episodes of a Japanese TV show that I have converted from DivX to MPEG-2 with no problems until now. There is a glitch in the video in three of the episodes that causes the video to be out of sync with the audio. I have two episodes with two glitches and by the end of the show the audio is 6 seconds ahead of the video.
Can I cut 6 seconds of the audio out after the video glitch to get everything back in sync? Will I have 6 seconds of dead air by the end of the show or will the sync be totally thrown off because the audio/video times are not equal?
