    Ok I just reformated my computer and installed the newest version of dvd decrypter. I go into it and select my LG dvd rom drive to back up a dvd. My computer locks up solid. Anyone have any ideas why this is doing this when I havent changed anything hardware wise on my computer. All I did was reformat and start clean. Any ideas?

    The latest version of DVD Decrypter (3.1.6.0 I believe) doesn't work for me at all, but 3.1.4.0 works like a champ. Try getting an older version and seeing if that helps.

    Maybe give smart ripper a shot? When I have ripping problems-which is not often-I try another ripper and that has always worked.

    Thats pretty strang hothandiman. Ok well now i tried to burn a dvd in dvd complete. It locks up when it gets ready to burn, actually when i select the drive. Something is wrong and I dont know what. Please Help

    Try ForceASPI drivers.
    Have you enabled DMA and turned off Auto Insert Notification?

    Well I dont know why but for some reason I unplugged all of my cd and dvd drives, and pluged them back in one by one and started the computer up each time. Now it works, GOT ME.
