    lord-

you keep starting new threads for (basically) the same exact problem. Soon a Mod will come along and lock your threads and you'll get no help. :c(

Please, maybe the time has come to not be so stubborn :cD and try the other suggestions that were offered to you.

No problem :c) I don't want you getting into any trouble in these early days, without even knowing.

I can't tell what's going wrong with the Tempgenc. If I were you I'd try something else - that's less headaches for you! :cD

You can always go back to Tempgenc at any time.

But I betcha it'd feel real good to get one working file out of your weekend, right? :c)

  5. It appears you are selecting the wrong Codec in the program for output. I believe "MCF file" is MPEG4, not MPEG2

    Good luck.

Oh bottleneck - good - you recognise that. Maybe you'll be able to Help LL. He's trying really hard. :c)

I had never had a file come out like that, so I was useless. :c)

    Two things;
    1. are you trying to make an svcd or a dvd file?
    2. TMPGenc is an encoder. You cannot author your file in it after it is encoded.

He may mean Tempgenc DVD author. He may be using both.

OK to clarify - you are using Tempgenc to encode then trying to use that in Tempgenc DVD Author. The 2 separate programs.

Did you see bottlenecks reply? Try the Tempgenc (encoder) Guide again and check each step.

  11. Are you using the standard DVD template in TMPG? Have you made any adjustments to the audio frequency, resolution, etc? If I'm not mistaken MCF stands for multimedia container format which is a distinct format different from avi and mpg.

  12. I have been converting DivX encoded AVI to MPEG-2 for awhile now and I follow the wizard at the start up of TMPGEnc for NTSC DVD's. Follow the wizard (no OZ jokes here please) and you should come out with an MPEG-2. I also use TMPGEnc DVD Author for my DVD's projects.

MCF is the TMPGenc settings TEMPLATE.
You aren't doing something silly like using "load" and "save"
for your videos are you ? That only deals with the templates.
