  1. Hi,
I've captured my movies using NeoDVD 5 directly in VOB system.
When playing these files, the audio and video is in sync.
However, when I cut these files into different parts the audio is out of sync.
So far I've tried NeoDVD and TmpgEnc for cutting.

Is there any program which can cut these VOB files and retain the audio and video sync??

    Thanks,
    Paul

  3. Ive used Vobsplitter but have had probs, I dont think it makes a completely DVD spec Vob file.

My method is to open vob file in authoring prog. I use Spruce Up, then insert chapter(s) at point you want cut(s) n then build a DVD folder.

Then run Smatripper , point it to the Video_ts folder made by the authoring program, you will find that smatripper lets you rip by chapter, so it can spilit it into the chapters that you made earlier.

  4. Does anyone know when Womble will bring out a version of MPG2VCR that can handle VOB files? I have used my Philips DVDR70 to capture some programs off TV onto DVD+R but wanna use my PC to chop off the commercials and author it back onto DVD-R.

Of course, since you already know how to use TMPGEnc, why not use AviSynth to cut your VOB, the encode it in TMPGEnc?
    Hello.
