Hi,
My DVD contains 4 short diferent movies.
I wanto to keep the original menu and only the 3 first movies.
I did the following:
1 - For the movie4 (wich I didn't want to keep), I opened its .IFO file with IfoEdit.
2 - Selected the PGC line and pressed the DELETE PLAYBACK button.
3 - Saved that .IFO file.
The movies I kept runs well and the function right.
I notice that in the list of files there is an .IFO file from the movie4, but no .VOB file from this movie.
Now I need to compress (with DVD Shrink) to put this movies onto a DVD-R. Although the movies are playing (with PowerDVD), DVD Shrink gives an error that couldn't file a file. Probably that .VOB from movie4.
What am I doing wrong?
I could not let the .VOB from the movie4 (wich I don't want to play) with the other files because so they won't fit onto de DVD-R.
If you could give any help, I thanx.

is the movie in it's own titleset as in something like VTS_04_1.VOB?
you have to be very careful when using delete playback and deleting VOB files. I recommend against it as just like it did, programs like DVDShrink check the DVD structure and will complain if something is not right and chances are it wouldn't play back in your standalone -

But I need to compress these movies to fit on a DVD. Using DVD Shrink, I get an error message (ONE FILE CANNOT BE FOUND). I think the problem is with the file .VOB from de movie that don't exist. IfoEdit only makes an .IFO file. How could I make a new .VOB file for the movie4 (just for reference as in the original menu should have any), so I can compress with DVD Shrink?
Thanx -

I will hopefully be releasing shortly so keep an eye out on the thread at Doom9
