Hi all !!! I have been using TMPGENC do do all of my converting (xvid/divx to dvd pal). I have been using this program for a while and consistantly have a problem with a jitter(stutter effect) which occurs about every 4-5 seconds. It is particularly bad during to intro to the movie and appears to be more noticable during scenes with low motion. I have tried various settings to try and eliminate this but have not had any luck. I boosted my memory as i thought that it may have been a factor .Still with no success. I have been using ULEAD DvD Moviefactory to burn all of my movies. Are there any programs that are better than tmpgenc ???? I am chasing high quality conversions that are smoothe in playback. Any help is greatly appreciated... Here is a list of my hardware and tmpgenc settings that i have been using.
(system)
amd 3200+
1 gb ddr memory
soltek sl-75frn2 motherboard
nvidia 128mb video card
ricoh dvd+r/rw burner
