  1. Hi all,

I've looked everywhere to try and convert an OGM file to a format I can use in TmpgEnc but I can't get anything to work.

I've tried using the Graphedit tutorial but I always get " The graph could not change state. The sample start time is after the sample end time ".

I have installed the latest directx and ogg / ogm filters but keep getting this result.

I have tried VirtualdubMod but this doesnt allow me to save the audio stream as a wav file reporting " No input audio stream to extract ".

The movie plays perfectly in WMP but I want to burn it to a VCD. What exactly am I doing wrong ? I must be putting something in the wrong place in Graphedit, although my graph is identical to the picture. It appears the MPEG layer 3 box is causing the problem as if I leave it out the program runs, but it produces a file that is too big to use.

If anyone knows an easier way to get the audio out of an OGM file please let me know as I can then use Virtualdub to convert the video to Divx and use the audio stream in TmpgEnc to create my VCD complient MPEG 1 file.

    All help much appreciated.

  2. Well, thanks to those who replied to this post I found the way to do it is to use AVI2VCD and use the Decompress exe file to convert the file to an avi of original video codec and PCM audio.

This can then be sent through VirtualDub and then TmpgEnc.

Got this info from the Divx-Digest forums which are far more active than these btw
