Ever since I posted that message a couple weeks ago about those orange topped Riteks being on sale at all the PC Club's, they have been totally exhausted of their entire supply of them. NOT A SINGLE PC CLUB IN THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AREA HAS ANYMORE. I called their entire southern cali chain, and all of them have run out. NOW they have all been replaced with a great new batch of Princo 4X's. GOOD GOD.
Does ANYONE that lives in the southern california area know of any WALK IN stores that are selling Riteks in 25 pack spindles? ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

  3. Why order online when most PC Clubs in SoCal are only a couple miles away...I just picked up a batch of 4x dvd-r at the PC Club in SAnta Ana...they weren't Riteks here's the ID tag, if anyone can figure it out:

  5. I like the shoplifter part

Do any of the online stores have walk in locations? Might check that. After all I think 90% are in CA!

Even if not actual walkins, you might be able to pick up an order in person.
I have done that with other types of merchandise. Place a phone order, pick up and pay in person. That way I can inspect the items first to be sure they are correct. Sometimes you can do that, many times not. But might be worth a shot.

rape; to seize and take by force. it doesnt have to mean sexually. so the term fit. quit being so politically correct

  8. Well not to start a war, but the word raped can be used many ways other than meaning sexual abuse. It's a comon word.

Also it's not little boys only using the word, many smart older people have been known to use it discussing things such as strip mining.
The land was raped of it's assets, etc..
Or should they instead say the land was f**ked over?
Sorry if you were offened by my use of the word STRIP.
I had no intention of suggesting you take off all you clothes while dancing exotically

don't be so pickey or offended so easily, it's a rough word and only one way out of it, personaly I'd rather stay a bit longer.

Although I am not an expert on language I beleave the word existed before the current sexual meaning was applied to it also.

I'm female and did not take offense - knowing the use of the word in various contexts.

However - I can see the word being painful and staying painful for a life time if anyone has gone through that and comes across the word - in any context.

So, no, let's not be critical, but yes, let's be open to the possibility that someone could find it very painful - and not by just being overly "correct" or picky. (Especially all in caps so it leaps out at you.)

I would never say remove it. I'm just saying, someone may have a very valid reason for being bothered by it - enough to post and say so.

No. I am not a shoplifter. I need the discs NOW. I prefer not to have to wait a week to get them by ordering them. I'd rather pick them up and circumvent the mailing process.

I almost made that same mistake. I actually picked up 2 spindles and was about to take them to the counter, then at the last second, it dawned on me to open up a spindle and check the underside for the dye color. They were very LIGHT purple, almost pink, definitely NOT a tradmark of the dark purple Riteks undersides. I put the spindles back and walked out of the store.

I always order 200 or so discs at a time from RIMA, and it only takes 4 days. You're in California, so it should be far less than that.

You'll probably save more in the long run.

And how can somebody be offended by a word? Some people are just too touchy.
