I have found some answeres to some of the problems on the Nero help site...
<TABLE BORDER=0 ALIGN=CENTER WIDTH=85%><TR><TD><font size=-1>Quote:</font><HR size=1 color=black></TD></TR><TR><TD><FONT SIZE=-1><BLOCKQUOTE>
"invalid field in command" </BLOCKQUOTE></FONT></TD></TR><TR><TD><HR size=1 color=black></TD></TR></TABLE>
This error message appears while burning, if the MCN/ISRC information to be written is faulty. Some CD-ROM drives and the odd CD Writer (e.g.: Yamaha 100/102, Yamaha 200/400/401 until firmware 1.0i, Yamaha 4001/4260/2260/4261 until firmware 1.0d) read this information incorrectly. Please deactivate the option MCN/ISRC and start a new attempt at reading or burning.
The error message can appear if energy saving measures or Powersaving routines are activated, e.g. Powerdown of the monitor. In particular if the error message always appears after for example 15 minutes. Please deactivate all such routines.
If the Nero version being used is 4.0.0.6 or if it is an older version and the error message occurs as soon as a Mixed Mode CD (with mode 1 track) is written (with activated Raw mode while reading) and the burner is a Philips CDD3610/HP7100 or a compatible device , then you should update to the Nero newest version.
Display of the error while trying to write a mode 2 track with a HP 8100, HP 8110, Sony CRX100E, Sony CRX110E, Sony CRX510E, Sony ROX5004 . This problem has been solved as of Nero 4.0.0.9.
The error message can occur if you try to continue with a Multisession CD which was started with Easy CD.
This error message appears if an attempt is made to burn with a Mitsumi 2801. If the board has a 440BX chip set, then the busmaster drivers should be replaced by newer ones.
Up to Windows 95 OSR2: Download the newest busmaster drivers in
http://developer.intel.com/design/chipsets/drivers/busmastr/index.htm
For Windows NT: Install the busmaster drivers enclosed with the board.
The problem may not only occur with boards with 440BX chip sets but also with other chip sets by Intel:
Pentium chip sets: 430FX (PIIX), 430VX (PIIX3), 430HX (PIIX3), 430TX (PIIX4)
Pentium II chip sets: 440FX (PIIX3), 440LX (PIIX4/4E), 440EX (PIIX4E), 440BX (PIIX4/4E), 440GX (PIIX4E)
If you copy an audio CD with a Yamaha 100/102, the option read ISRC is activated and the CD has been read in with the Yamaha 100/102. The error message now appears if an attempt is made to burn the CD including the faulty ISRC information. Please deactivate the option MCN/ISRC.
If you newly create a Video CD and you use Nero 4.0.5.0 and one of the following types of CD Writer: HP 7500, HP 8100, HP 8110, HP 8200, HP 8210, Sony CRX100E, Sony CRX110E, Sony CRX120E, Sony CRX120EX-RP, Sony CRX510E, Sony ROX5004, then please download a more up-to-date Nero version from our WebSite.
The CD Writer HP 7500, HP 8100, HP 8110, HP 8200, HP 8210, Sony CRX100E, Sony CRX110E, Sony CRX120E, Sony CRX120EX-RP, Sony CRX510E, Sony ROX5004 displays the error message if it has a problem writing on the CD-R/RW. In this case please use another CD-R/RW. Please also refer to problematic CD-R/RW.
The error can occur (e.g.: after measuring the speed but before starting the simulation or the burning process) if the cables are not plugged in correctly. Please check the cabling.
The error can occur if a buffer underrun has occurred. Please check if there is a program active somewhere. See Buffer Underrun.
Please check if the computer is connected to a DHCP server. The error message can appear if the automatic allocation of a TCP/IP address is activated via the DHCP server and then as soon as the IP address is renewed.
Please make sure that you do not load any DOS drivers in AUTOEXEC.BAT or CONFIG.SYS. The error is sometimes caused by memory managers.

latest Nero driver (for Windows NT/2000)
please copy this file in the Nero folder.
version: 2.0.1.27
ftp://ftp.nero.com/wnaspi32.dll
Nero's 5.5 WMA Plugin wouldn't hurt, though I dont think
that is your problem
ftp://ftp2.nero.com/WMAPlugin.exe
Try Nero's driver for windows 2000 and see if that solves
your problem
