Hi, I've just bought myself a Dell Axim PDA, running Pocket PC 2002. By following the guides I can quite successfully convert divx files to play on my Axim using virtualdub, by reducing screen size to 320x240, and rotating, and reducing audio sample rate etc
These play fine, excellent quality, but cause dropped frames. So, again following the guides, I use VirtualDubs decimate by 2 filter. These now play beautifully, no dropped frames at all.
But...
The guides give the impression that the filesize will be greatly reduced, which seems logical to me. But I find that a 240Mb full frame rate film will reduce to about 225Mb. Any ideas? I was hoping to get a couple of films onto a 256Mb CF card.
TIA,
Craig.

No, I don't think so. I ran it once without decimate, then changed the decimate value and re-ran, with no other changes (as far as I am aware)
