  1. Hi,

I'm just about going out of my skull trying to figure out what the hang up is.

The video is encoding fine. AC3 audio. I've set the environmental settings to DirectShow highest priority, I've converted the audio to wav with VirtualDub and loaded it. I'm still having no luck. Any suggestions? I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

No you didn't, because Vdub won't do that. It produces an AC3 file with the extension .wav

I find that the easiest way to get a wav file from AC3 audio is to use Goldwave, here's a guide.
